Ubisoft wanted to give a twist to For Honor and in fact achieved it in almost all aspects of the title with a novelties that are perfectly adjusted and endow the title with a freshness that had been demanding almost since the launch.
Both Breach and Arcade improve the overall package, the new fighters will be appreciated by the dedicated community and it’s great to see a visual improvement 18 months post-launch. However, this is a strange situation where the Marching Fire content is great, but I can’t recommend buying the $45 expansion.
For Honor: Marching Fire is a great DLC expansion that introduces a fun new set of heroes to play as, movesets to master and game modes to enjoy. Even if you don’t pay for the content, you still get access to a variety of graphical improvements, and Breach Mode’s grand scale has made it one of my favourite new competitive multiplayer experiences in recent times.
Marching Fire is For Honor's biggest update yet, and it's a doozy. Arcade mode, Breach and the new characters all add loads of content for For Honor fans to enjoy, but if you're out of the loop with the game, this doesn't do much to persuade you to start playing now.
