Epic Games has brought one of the internet's most iconic virtual pets into Fortnite, teaming up with Neopets to deliver the Aisha Sidekick as part of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. The crossover is live now, but the window to grab Aisha is extremely short.
What's in the Crossover
The Neopets Aisha Sidekick is available in the Fortnite Shop from July 2 at 8 PM ET until July 9 at 8 PM ET. Licensed collaboration cosmetics in Fortnite don't always return to the shop, so this one-week window may be the only chance to pick up Aisha.
The Aisha Sidekick costs 1,500 V-Bucks. It includes two styles: the classic Blue Aisha and the out-of-this-world Alien Aisha. Like all Fortnite Sidekicks, it follows standard companion rules - only your squad can see them, and they won't point out enemies.
The cosmetic also bundles in a unique emote. The Nosh-o-Matic Emote features an Alien Aisha Vending Machine, with three possible treats for Aisha to enjoy: a Carrot and Pea Omelette, a Fish Negg, or a Neocola Slushie.

Free Rewards - How to Earn Them
Purchasing Aisha is just the start. Upon purchase, Aisha unlocks a Neopets questline containing exclusive goodies that can't be obtained in the Item Shop. By spending time with Aisha equipped across any of Fortnite's modes, players accumulate Sidekick Points, which unlock the Nosh-o-Matic emote. Additional quest rewards include an alternative style for Aisha, an emoticon, and a reaction - all locked behind a total XP grind of 19,500 points while Aisha is equipped.
The reward breakdown at a glance:
| Reward | How to Unlock |
|---|---|
| Nosh-o-Matic Emote | Earn Sidekick Points in any mode |
| Alien Aisha Style | Complete questline milestones |
| Aisha Emoticon | Part of quest rewards |
| Aisha Reaction | Part of quest rewards |
Modes with Sidekicks always deployed - such as Zero Build and standard Battle Royale - are the most efficient way to rack up points quickly.
Neopets Background
Created in 1999 as a browser-based game, Neopets is a virtual pet simulator that became popular among young gamers in the early 2000s. Neopets grew incredibly popular, reaching over 35 million users in 2005. Aisha itself is one of the brand's most recognisable species - two forms were shown in the promotional image: a classic full-color blue version with two antennas and feline features, and a green spacesuit-wearing Alien version with four antennas.
The Neopets CEO reflected on the collaboration in a press statement. "I still remember feeding my Aisha during computer classes in 2000," the CEO said, adding that "tens of millions of players who grew up on Neopets are playing Fortnite now."
The collaboration was revealed by Neopets on social media and confirmed by Epic Games. The Chapter 7 Season 3 crossover won't feature any full character skins, keeping the collab firmly within the Sidekick companion system. The crossover only features the Aisha Neopet and its Alien edit style - fans hoping for Shoyru or Kacheek will have to wait for a potential Wave 2.
What Comes Next
Epic Games has already confirmed several major upcoming partnerships, including crossovers with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Vampire Survivors, Control Resonant, and a new wave of Rick & Morty skins. Whether Neopets gets a second wave will likely depend on how well Aisha performs during this limited window.
